Former Strategy and Finance Ministry official Shin Jae-min, who was accused of intervening in the personnel affairs of KT&G, a private company, left a message to his acquaintances, suggesting that he committed suicide, and police began searching for the missing.



According to police on Thursday morning, Gwanak Police Station sent a message to an acquaintance saying, "You're the only one who can ask me to go," and it was confirmed that the police had disappeared. It was also reported that the text contained the address and password of the room where he lived.
